Kara and Matt – Boston Harbor Hotel, Boston

Let us start off by saying we had such a great time transforming the Boston Harbor Hotel tonight.  As you all know, the Wharf ballroom is already gorgeous to begin with, but after the uplighting … it really left us speechless.

Kara and Matt, thank you for trusting our professional experience – you see, they told us their wedding colors consisted of different shades of blue’s but we were free to use our judgement on the day of.  It was decided that we had to capitalize on the great architecture the room had to offer.  That being said, the outer perimeter of the room was lit in a darker ocean blue (that matched their menus) and the inner columns were lit in a lighter teal shade (that went perfectly with their sheer organza overlay).

The result was jaw dropping.

If you think the pictures below are spectacular, believe us when we say it was 100x more beautiful in person.

Kara and Matt were lucky enough to have a family friend create their centerpieces.  The bright orange flowers and ribbon definitely popped against the blue uplighting.  Below are a few detail shots so you can get an overall feeling of the day.

A few from the outside – can you tell we are obsessed with floor to ceiling windows?  A lot of brides ask if it’s worth it for them to get uplighting even if a majority of their room is full of windows.  Our answer is YES, ABSOLUTELY!

Take a look at the pictures below and you will see exactly what we mean.

Kara and Matt, we were thrilled that you chose us to be a part of your special day.

Your room tonight looked like it was straight out of a magazine!

Congratulations!
